Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members for the course I choosen is very helpful in doing our graduation journey. They help us a lot in the our and also extracurricular activities. The most of the faculty members has a doctorate in their relevant field. I choose this course based on my interest and the relevance of the civil engineers in our society. The term has a tight schedule but the faculty manages it with all their hardwork and support to students. The exams are moderate for an average students and passing in exam is not such a big task with proper preparation.

Many companies come for recruitment process tto our college. And many provides training in personal development and aptitude part. Aon cocubes provide a gateway to enter to cooperate companies for job.

Placement Experience

The placement usually begins from sixth semesters. A lot of companies are coming for recruitment in various branches with good scale of pay. Vipro, Cognizant, byjus, Infosys etc are companies I remember which came for recruitment, apart from this lot of other companies are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good and there are a lot scholarship provided by both Government and management. Egrants is the scholarship we got on the caste and annual income basis. Also we got stipend in this scholarship in extra with fees.

Campus Life

The life at campus is very good and charming. We loves it a a lot. The ambience and the vibes aroun is beautiful. There many books and other references in library. Sports teams are there in the college.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is a higher secondary education with science subjects.Admission is through keam entrance exam conducted by Kerala government and it's rank is taken into consideration for the allotment process. The application can be submitted in the keam entrance portal and fees should paid. Reservation is provided based on caste criteria.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I have only applied to this college. One of my friend who was studying in this college suggested me this college. Because of my KEAM mark, I didn't get other government colleges for CSE. As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. This i got into Jyothi engineering college Thrissur according to my rank. Couldn't apply to other colleges because the system works like that. If we get any college we should join there. The real review

Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
