I chose ENC because its a very decent branch where you can learn things related to both electronics as well as computer. Faculty to student ratio is very decent here. Some teachers are good, some are bad just like every other college. There are two exams each semester, one is called MST and the other is called EST. Exams held are not so hard and are very easy to pass.

Many companies visit TIET for intership opportunities and many students get internship as well as direct placement in the respective company. Projects hell students a lot in shaping them and their career for future.

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. A lot of big companies and MNCs visit the college for placement like adobe, DE Shaw, Microsoft etc. Highest package is around 5500000 and average package revolves around 1200000.

Fees is quite high but you this college offers you various scholarships on the basis of your annual family income as well as your CGPA and performance in class. The return on investment is good for this college even if you are an average student.

Life at campus is really great. Thapar has a 250 acre campus with a lot of fests happening then and now. The biggest fest of thapar is called 'Saturnalia' and is held on the month of November. A big library is also there with lots of books and novels for you. The college provides you with every kind of sports facilities you want and there are also a lot of societies and clubs running in the college by students such as MLSC, GDSC, Owasp, CCS etc.

Hostel facilities are quite good. You get mattress, almirah, study table and all basic amenities there needed for an hostel room. Meal provided is decent and you also get laundry services twice a week.

I got admission on the basis of the percentile I scored in JEE Mains. Admission to this college is done on the basis of both JEE Percentile as well as your 12th marks. Application form can be found on official site of thapar. Admission process is very transparent and good.
