- The campus is huge and beautiful with its inclusion of nature on every corner
- The classrooms are pretty spacious and there is good inclusion of technology.
- The faculty is helping and kind most of the times.
Dislikes
- There is no social life to be had, it's all study.
- There is certain lack of structure that i feel sometimes in the mangement.
- The management doesn't side with the students most of the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is same for majority of the colleges in kerala because they all come under the same university(KTU). The faculty members are more than qualified for their job and they conduct themselves in a very professional way.
Internships Opportunities
There is an integrated IIIC in our college implemented by a collaborative effort between Jyothi and TATA which trains students and offer them several intership opportunities. They are trained on their on desired profession and given the opportunity to earn money.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester. Many it companies visit the college and offer many jobs for the computer science students. The other gets less offers comapred to this but still a fairly good amount
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees don't matter to me beacuse i have a scholarship that covers the semester fees and also the exam fees. They also provide money for my bus charges. This scholarship is the egrantz scholarship for OBC students(especially in the OEC category).
Campus Life
The life at campus is very limiting because of the faculty's overlook on student's mental health. But there is an annual tech fest called Tharang which is fairly fun. Libraries are filled with only study material which i personally don't like.Sports and extra curricular activities are encouraged barely.
Admission
The admission process was fairly simple, i just had to go to the college and pay an admission fee of about 11000 rupees, i had a scholarship to begin with so I didn't have to pay the semester fees. All the applications and formalities was done quickly so there little to be improved in that case.
