Course Curriculum Overview
The students in my batch are about 80. The faculty of some subjects are really good and they teach great. The exams are easy to pass but to score a good grade is very difficult. The last passout batch had the highest package of 60 lacs
Internships Opportunities
Various startups and companies like JP Morgan, google, apple etc hire from our college. You need to keep an eye on the companies visiting and apply according to their needs. Make your communication skills good
Placement Experience
The placements of our college is very good. Most of the students get placed. You need to have good grades with great skills required to get your dream job otherwise mass recruiters are there who offer you jobs
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per semester including hostel, mess and tuition fees is 3 lacs approx. The top students get scholarships at the end of first year. Honestly it is a bit expensive only come here if your parents can really afford it
Campus Life
The campus life is great here. Saturnalia is the annual fest which has various artists performing here. The library has all the books available and you can also take them with yourself. All the sports facilities are available at the sports centre
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are in the college itself and most of them are 10 minutes away from the classes. The meal quality is good. We get three meals in our mess fees which is 22000. Snacks are provided for which we have to oay extra.
Admission
I gave JEE exam and got 94000 rank . I got admission under Punjab quota. You can find the admission form at the official website of Thapar university. The conputer science and business system systems branch of Thapar is a very good branch
