Remarks
The college is overall a good college with decent academic statistics but it can have a major improvement as far as placements are concerned.
Entrance Preview
There was no entrance exam for the course.The admission was solely based on the merit list issued on the basis of the 12th boards' percentage. No interview required for the course I have chosen.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty detailed but still manageable. Not much emphasis is paid on practical learning as such. The college hasn't taken up any research initiatives and I have Maths as my elective subject.
Internships Opportunities
We do have internship facilities where the stipend ranges from 1000 to 10k rs.I haven't enrolled myself for any internship yet but will definitely do it in future.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is average.Only about 20% students were placed with packages like 1 lakh-2 lakhs. Very few companies visit the college IBM,Genpact being some notable ones.
College Events
There are fests , seminars and workshops in the college.The fest is held only once a year but the seminars and workshops are quite informative and give us a learning experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very affordable and is about 13000 Rs per annum only tuition .The exam fees has to be paid separately and vary every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship for deserving students.Moreover, we have education grant facilities for the financially modest students.
Campus Life
Our societies work with extreme zeal and most of them are active throughout the year. I haven't given the interview of any society yet as all of them have some selection procedure. I am planning to join the dramatics society next year.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility.I live in a PG nearby paying 9000rs per month including food .The quality of food is not up to the mark still its edible.
Alumni/Alumna
We haven't got much opportunities to interact with the alumni of our college, but hope to have some event or meeting in the near future by the college. Currently we are not well aware of our alumni network.
Exam Structure
Exams are held at semester end .We have class tests every month too to see our overall progress at the end of each.
Faculty
Top level faculty who are are supportive. Regular classrooms and labs. The student-teacher ratio is good and thus they are able to solve our problems well. The course curriculum is according to the subject and very supportive for further studies and competitive exams.
