I liked the library and variety of books it had to offer.
The college canteen was also good and prices were low too
There was a metro station near walking distance

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in banking and stuff so I decided to choose B.Com hons. The teachers are highly educated with Phd degrees with them. They used to teach us with projector by starting a slideshow and explaining everything. There were a lots of internal tests and assignments. And at the end of semester there was the final exam which wasn't much difficult to pass.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 22500 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies like qualicentric, wipro, Zielhoch, Digituala, Insplore Consultants Pvt Ltd. They took interns under the roles like Subject Matter Intern, Data Analyst Intern, Financial Analyst Intern, etc. The average stipend was around 12k

Placement Experience

The students can get the honours degree after third year and the research degree after fourth. They can be eligible for placement after 3rd year. The packages aren't that bad here. The highest package was around 20 LPA and average was around 5 LPA. There were around 150 companies and percentage of students placed was 70-75 percent in their courses

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this college wasn't that much. It was around 20k for the B.Com honours course which I selected. There are a lot of internship opportunities and they are posted quite often in our college group. The placements are quite good too

Campus Life

There is a lot of stuff to explore like clubs, libraries, sports and stuff etc. To be honest I wasn't involved in any extra curricular activities. The library also got a variety of books you can read or issue. There are also a lot of clubs you can join after giving interview or any test if it is included. The campus isn't too big for now but a new building is being constructed which may take some time

Admission

The admission was through CUET entrance exam. You can find the form at the official cuet website. You need to check what subjects are required to select for the examination for your preferred college and course and give the exam. The cut off for my course was around 98 percentile. I think a lot of students couldn't take admission because they didn't properly select their subjects and couldn't meet the requirement for the course. So this should be kept in kind for next time

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

College life

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet. what happens at ramanujan college?
