The college has a mesmerising & overwhelming campus. Average college.

The college must pay attention on the faculties & the labs. The admin office staff must be cooperative. The faculty needs to be more friendly.

I gave JEE MAINS entrance exam. I didn't score well in my 12th class as well as in my JEE exam. I was afraid about the college allotment list. I landed up in the college through the centralised admission process. There's no interview process followed at the time of admission. I was interested in the chemical industries so I chose the course I'm currently pursuing.

The courses are good but vast. The subjects aren't having any specific local author books for chemical engineering branch. There is good focus on the practical sessions. We also gets good practical knowledge from the circular that is set. But the labs aren't that properly maintained. There are many research initiatives taken at the institute level. One of our faculty is working on it along with the students.

The college don't provide any internship to the students. Rather instructions are given to the students that the internships need to be fine till the 5th semester. I had done one on my own reference, it was a mineral water treatment & packaging plant. The experience was pretty good. There was no Stipend.

The placements are quite low for the college. Other departments are atleast getting placed averagely. But he chemical department lacks this thing a lot. Very few chemical industries visits the college. The average package must 4-5 LPA. Major recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Mahindra & Mahindra.

Cultural program is held every year. It is named as MRUDANG. The fests are mammoth. The footfall is about 3k. The college provides good facilities for it. The entries are strictly for the pass holders. The college authorities contribute well for the successful representation of programs.

The fee for the open category students is 80/- annually. However it sounds a fatty amount but it is comparatively w quite less than many other colleges in the city. So the college can be said affordable.

The scholarship is there provided in the college. Through the "Samaj Kalyan" office the college provides the scholarship to the students. I do avail one scholarship for OBC kunbi.

There are many extracurriculars held in the college. There are guest lectures held. Technical & non technical events are one of the part of the facilities provided. The college provides good facilities for the same.

No I don't stay in the college Hostel. There are 2 hostel for the DY Patil Akurdi campus. As there are many Colleges and students studying in it are plenty. So the 2 Hostel are built. The fees are very high.. There are rooms on sharing. No PGs provide by the College authorities. The fee is 1.2 lakhs. The food is good.

The college isn't anything like alumni network provided by the College. We need to interact with the former students of our college on our own. So we aren't having much experience about it. The alumni students interaction should be provided to the students in the college.

The exams are quite frequently held. It makes us to sit & get the study done so frequently that we hardly gets time to chill. However the loads of assignments are reduced very much since the last year, else to till last year we were told to complete the assignments and practicals with plenty of written work in it. The exams are strictly held.

The faculties are newly recruited faculties. Because of this they aren't having much teaching experience and teaching skills which makes the subject though to understand . However some of the faculties are very good teaching & interacting with students. Many tries to be friendly & solves the query instantly. The teaching standard is satisfactory.
