My college experience

OVERALL I THINK THE COLLEGE IS GOOD, THOUGH THERE ARE SOME BAD POINTS, THEY ARE SHADOWED BY THE GOOD.QUALITIES OF COLLEGE. THE TEACHERS ARE GOOD, BRILLIANT INFRASTRUCTURE, GOOD OPPORTUNITIES MAKE COLLEGE THE ONE IN YOUR WISHLIST

I appeared for the Maharashtra state "Common Entrance Test" MHT-CET 2017 for admission to First Year of Full Time Degree Courses of Technical Education (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Pharm. D.) for the academic year 2016-17. Based on the score in this exam , i was alloted eat in MES College of Enginee1ring , Pune in the First CAP round out of 4 rounds.e After every round , you are alloted a seat in a particular college on the credit of ours marks in entrance exam . There is no interview process (only MHT CET ) . I have immense interest in learning computer languages and hardware ,so i ended up choosing BE IN Computer Engineering.

BE in computer Engineering is always good option if you wish to learn about new technologies . Equal amount of focus is given on both Theorotical as well as practical knowledge.you can also choose BE in Mechanical or ENTC engineering in this college.

INTERNSHIPS ARE PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEARS . AS I AM SECOND YEAR STUDENT I HAD NOT DONE ANY KIND OF INTERNSHIP.THE STIPEND AMOUNT IS GOOD.

THE PLACEMENT SCENARIO FOR COMPUTER STUDENTS IS GOOD HERE THAN OTHER COLLEGE OF SAME LEVEL. ALMOST 70% are PLACED. Eligibility Criteria is 58%, Some students below 58% are also placed. QUICK HEAL , TCS , NVIDEA , ORACLE , INFOSYS , TECH MAHINDRA , WIPRO AND MANY MORE.... AVERAGE PACKAGE IS ABOUT 4 LPA.

ALL TYPES OF TECHNICAL EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED N ENOUGH LARGE SCALE TO DEVELOP DIFFERENT QUALITIES IN STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS ARE ALWAYS EARLY WAITING FOR THE JHANKAAR - THE CULTURAL FEST , WHICH IS ON A VERY LARGE SCALE.

The fees are same as all other colleges in SPPU also scholarships are provided as per the government rules. the total fees is about 1.1 lac .

ALL SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED BY THE MAHARASHTRA CAN BE AVAILED BY THE ELIGIBLE STUDENTS. I DONT AVAIL ANY SCHOLORSHIP. NO THE COLLEGE DOESNT HELP IN GETTING LOAN...

SPORTS TEAM FOR CRICKET , FOOTBALL , BASKETBALL , VOLLEYBALL ARE THERE REPRESENTING MESCOE AT VARIOUS PLATFORMS ... THE COLLEGE IS NOT VERY GOOD FOR EXTRACIRRCULAR AS THE STUDENTS DONT GET MUCH TIME PRACTISING SPORTS ... BUT THE CAMPUS HAVE VERY BIG GROUNDS.

i am not a hostelite still i know somethings the hostel life for boys and girls is different. girls hostel is enough strict not much not less. boys hostel is cool ... still kind of strict in discipline. all facilities are provided in hostel. rooms are on sharing basis for 3/4 persons. the food is ok. the hostel guys say their breakfast is very tasty but the lunch and dinner is average.

YES , THE ALUMNI VISIT COLLEGE AFTEN .... THE COLLEGE PROVIDE PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR STUDENT-ALUMNI INTERACTION , PROVIDED THE STUDENTS SHOULD TAKE ANY INICIATIVE . YES THE ALUMNI HELPS STUDENTS TO KNOW ABOUT THE OUTER WORLD WITHIN THE COLLEGE CAMPUS

the exam are conducted as per the schedule of university ... but daily class tests and assingments keep you busy with your studies also giving you some time to cultivate your hobbies.

The faculty is very good and well exprienced ... but on few faculty is having problem in expressing their knowledge to students inspite of having full knowledge of subject. yes , they are interactive ... some lectures dont feel boring at all ... faculty tries for two way interaction in lectures . almost in all lectures , projector is used for better understanding of students.
