Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosed data science since it's very much on demand nowadays.The number of girls students is qite low as compared to the boys.The teacher's are quite good and have completed theor either MTech or PHD in their particular subjects. Since it's my first year so I haven't given my first semester exam.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is approx 72k per semester. It will be a total expense of 5-6 lakh at the end of 4 year course completion. The college scholarship, Bangalar Uchusikhsh Scholarship and Swami Vivekananda Scholarships are available for this course, for which the students can apply.

Campus Life

There are various clubs available for the students to take part and socialise among other students.The college fest is conducted in month of December or January. There are various sports and extra curricular activities run by the various clubs of the college for both boys and girls.The Samarth club, Ankuran club are run by the senior students for the welfare of the students.

Admission

The candidate must have passed class 12 with science stream and physics maths chemistry as the main subjects. I have given webjee entrance exam to take admission in this college.The application form is available in website of webjee.My rank was under 12k in webjee entrance exam.All the application process and college distribution are done online .

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
