Course Curriculum Overview
This course will give you a complete insight into an engineer's life. The faculty-student ratio is also good. Teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There are two-semester exams in a year and a few surprise tests in between.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities in college are pretty much average or let me say basic. Amazon comes every alternate year and brings one internship opportunity. Other than that TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro come with their internships.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are pretty average. For CSE students one can expect a minimum package of 3.5LPA and an average package of 6.5LPA. Almost 90 percent of students get placed each year so it is decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is good compared to other autonomous colleges. Students can also apply for loans and Bengal students can apply for various scholarships. However, one should not expect too good campus placements.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. We get to see a lot of clubs here like Resonance for singing, Ghungroo for dancing, Geeks United for coding enthusiasts, and many more. The sports club is also a very active club and is good.
Admission
I got admission through WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). To appear in this exam one must pass high school with PCM and 60% result. The forms are generally available by the end of December and cost around 500. Native students of Bengal get extra facilities in this examination.
