Remarks

The college must concentrate well on the placements of the chemical & other branches as well. The Campus is so well designed & maintained. But it isn't the only thing that counts but also the labs & other services. There isn't good drinking water facilities provided.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for JEE MAINS. It was the mandatory exam for the engineering admissions. I landed up in the college as I was allotted the college according to the merit list & the centralised admission process (CAP). There wasn't any interview process followed. I was aiming for the same & was supported by my Family for the chemical engineering course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is chose pretty good. Before opting the course I discussed with some of the passout chemical engineers from different colleges. The course is quite similar as was discussed with them. There is moderate focus on the practical knowledge and learning. There are many research initiatives taken by the institute.

Internships Opportunities

There isn't any internship provided by the college. The only thing the college do is to sign a letter written on it the thing that this student belongs to our college. The students have to find a company on their own. I haven't done any internship yet. I will get it done after my 6th semester exams. I don't know about the Stipend provided, it is rarely provided.

Placement Experience

2

The placements for the chemical branch in our college is very less. Other branches are at least getting well placed. The percentage students getting placed are 50-60%. The major companies that recruits are Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Barclays, etc. The average package given is around 4 LPA.

College Events

5

The cultural event in the campus of our college is held named as MRUDANG. Which is a really amazing to see. There are different performances in the gathering. The events are too big with an average entries of about 3k. The organisation for the same by the College authorities is done at high security level. No trespassers are prosecuted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is quite affordable. As compared to the other colleges in the SPPU, the college is having less fees. The fees for the open category is 80/- annually For OBC category it is 45/- For SC/ST category it is 10K.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is the scholarship provided by the College on the behalf of scrutiny board. The scholarship is given to the students of category & only to those who are allotted to the college through cap round. The management students are not eligible for scholarship. The college do not help much in getting the educational loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is extremely good in terms of Extracurricular. The college pays good attention to the enhancing if the student personality development. The students get ample opportunities to explore your inner talent. The facilities provided are the technical & non technical events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 2 hostels provided for the boys & 1 for girls. The girls hostel is very much near to the college but the boys hostel is quite a distance apart from college. The rooms are both on sharing as well as single. They don't have PGs. The hostel fees are too high. It is 1.2 lakhs yearly. The food quality is good.

Alumni/Alumna

The college is newly established in the year of 2012. I was just the 2nd batch of students which passed out from the college last year. So the college isn't having any good type of alumni network. Neither do they provide any good platform for the same. The alumni surely contributes in the overall development of the College as well as the students.

Exam Structure

Yes the exams are very frequent. Also the labs are conducted frequently. These makes us feel tired at the end of the day. We do enjoy the practical knowledge at the labs but sometimes it is a boring experience. The exams aren't chill cultured, they are strictly held.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are well qualified and experienced in teaching the courses. But only some of the faculties are good at teaching. Rest aren't that good, which will not even make you understand the subjects. They are moderately interactive with the students but are readily answerable to the students questions & queries, as everywhere it happens. The standard of teaching is pretty good.
