I liked the college fees for sure because its affordable
Second i liked the people in college we'll interactive people
And more there is no ragging in the campus.

Dislikes

So we dont have very big campus. Cricket ground should be there
There is lot of pressure for students for the exam.
You have to wear uniforms in the college so i hate it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good to be good. The reason behind chossing this course is data science is an emerging field. Faculty members are quite good and they are well qualified.You will not get bored.You will surely enjoy the course

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this college is not that high as compared to other private college and ofcourse you get lot of scholarship so regarding fee you can be ok. For west bengal people you can apply for swami vivekananda scholarship.

Campus Life

To be clear there is no campus life. It just coming to college and going back to your home or PG. There are lots of club and societies in our college regarding cultural, sports, studies and many more.

Admission

I gave wbjee exam. And I got rank of 12k around.And I got into this college in mop up round . In first round I was allotted to IOT branch of the same college,but I didn't wanted it so i opt for upgradation and in mop up round I got this.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
