Remarks

It provide a platform for entertaining the students such as Cine max which provides one per week. A skylab is there for WiFi facility.

I have given the JEE Main exam. I got this college through OJEE Council. There is no any interview process.the advancement of technology is really interesting and easier for our life.

This course is very good. The focus of practical learning is also good but not best. There is a robotics club where researches are done.

College not providing any internship but giving the freedom to do any types of internship as well the course for extra ability of the students.

Placement of the students is also very good . Its about 70 to 80% as the demand of IT industry decreased this time it is less than the expected. The major companies are Infosys, Wipro, ADP, Mindtree,Tech Mahindra. Avg package is 3.25 lacs per annum.

College Events

Events like tech fest, cultural nite, rhythmnova for the entertainment of the students. It is not so big but enough to entertain us. Organisation is.very good if we talking about academic purpose only. But in other part it is considerable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is affordable but not for the all peoples of the society. Admission fee-Rs 1,35,000 for one year. Hostel fee - Rs 30,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college provide scholarship on the basis of academic performance. It also provide scholarship for local students but not outside Odisha. Yes it helps outside students to getting loan from banks.

It also provide extra curricular like Silicon Music Club for singing and dancing, Campus Life coordination Committee, Silicon Green Club, silicon robotics club.

Hostel Facilities

Yup I'm staying in hostel and the hostel rooms are not so good as we are expecting but it may be considered as usual. A single room is share among 2 or 3 students. No PG is not here. I have paid for hostel Rs 30,000 per year and bills for food is 2400-2800 per month. Food is not so good but it is manageable.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni interaction is good. Yes it provide proper platform for student-alumni interaction. Alumni as well as students contribute in the overall development of the college.

Exam Structure

Obviously . It make us very tired because we have to get prepare for every subject and time for the preparation for the semester as well as for internals.

The faculty is well experienced and qualified. All faculties are interactive. Some share in details and some not. The standard of teaching is also good.

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.
