I choose b.tech (cse) here because of the future scope and of course my interest in computer science. Faculty here at cgc is good and cooperative. I enjoyed my college life as the environment was good with faculty and friends. lots of faculty members are there to handle and guide students. Faculty members are experienced and way of teaching of some of the professors is very good. Earlier in times when i took admission, there was normal board and marker with projectors were used in class but now there are smart boards in every class. i used them in my last semester. There are two mid semester exams and one final semester exam in each semester, and if you attend classes regularly you very easily pass in each exam.

There are lots and lots of placement offers to students who opted for their tpp programme for which they charge a small fee, which is 3500 rs. from 7th semester, students get placement offers. Companies like autodesk, phonepe, cognizant, tcs, wipro... etc. visit campus and a big no.s of offers are made to students. Highest package is 36 lpa and average is 6.6 lpa this year. Around 80% of students get college placements. I also got placed in a good company in mohali during my last semester.

Fees at my time was affordable and not very much like other colleges, but now cgc has got NAAC+ grade and after that they increased fees by rs 20 - 25k per semester for b.tech i am talking about. earlier it was 43k per semester and now it's 67k. After completing my college i got placed in a good company with avg. package.

Various fests and functions held at cgc like pitara premiere nights, freshers party etc. You'll fine each and every book about your course in college library, there are plenty of newspaper subscriptions and other books as well. there's digital library also. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Cameras are there for security purposes. Sports and extra curricular activities are regularly organised in our campus.

Admission process is smooth, there's a 60% marks criteria for b.tech to be elligible for the admission. You can register online at their website and fill the application form and pay the minimum required fees for the admission, which was 10,000 in 2019 when i took admission in this college. Rest of the semester fees you can pay later in campus or online. There's rs 2000 security fees, which you'll get refund after the last semester of course.
