Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in electronics and instrumentation engineering. The faculty is very helpful they are all professors. They teaching methods is very friendly and they guide very well. We have 70 students in electronics and instrumentation engineering 2023 batch. We have four continuous assessments and practical exams and then we have our mid semester and end semester .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

Our placement plan on campus is 85%. Huge number of students get their placement from our college to different reputed private and government job sectors. Our highest package is 30 lakhs . And lowest packages 6 lakhs. I will study hard to get a decent job. TCS Wipro Amazon Google Accenture Adobe Flipkart mcleods and several repo rate companies approach our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees is 550000 rs. We have different types of scholarship availed by our college. They also supporters for taking student loans at different kinds of scholarship and also guide us throughout the process. Our average on campus job placements is 85% . Average per annum sallery is 600000 rs. Our college supporters and guide us for taking internship in very reputed private and government job sectors.

Campus Life

Our college is ragging free. We have a anti ragging committee which always support the first years and prevent us from getting ragged inside and outside college campus. We have several smart classrooms , discussion halls and proper equipped classrooms. Our classrooms are very spacious. We have several clubs in our college with support us in involving in different cultural electrical and technical aspects of our life. We have a huge library with different and huge collection of books and have a library hall where several students can study peacefully.

Admission

I am general caste and did not had any reservations . I gave WBJEE exam , then I got 32069 rank and got addmission in TECHNO MAIN SALT LAKE , KOLKATA. The college suggested me and I got the course APPLIED ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
