Course Curriculum Overview
?I am very much passionate about electrics and electrical stuffs and I was eligible for this branch by my WBJEE rank, and I have a huge enthusiasm to become an engineer from 6-7th yeared age. ?There are almost 35 faculties and 3000 students including all branches and all semesteres students. ?All faculties are highly qualified from prestigious institutes and some of them are passed out from abroad. All faculties are very much passionate about their teaching profession but on the other hand they have light friendly tone to the students. ?Term exams or semester exams are about 3 hour long and it is a bit tough to pass but with hardwork and smart study anyone can achieve a great score.
Internships Opportunities
?There are few companies that provide internship opportunities with a decent stipend like Ardent, PWC, TCS, WIPRO. ?While inteenship period, students have to complete some projects like debugging, coding, portfolio web development, graphics design, UI design etc.
Placement Experience
?From 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. ?There are many companies visited with great offers like IBM with 6lpa, Microsoft with 12lpa, Wipro with 7lpa, TCS with 6lpa etc. ?The highest package is 27lpa given by Microsoft and the average packeges are 5lpa. ?Around 88% students get placement by on campusing. ?My plan is to continue for more higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
?The total course fee for 4 year is ?550000/- but if anyone is a TFW candidate then he/she can easily get deduction on the course fees. And if students want to have hostel or PG then they can easily get because those are easily available near the college ans it will cost them around ?6000-7000/-, including fooding and lodging. ?Civilian students from all over West Bengal can get SVMCM scholarship if they get more than 60% in semesters. And students can get placement by on campusing.
Campus Life
?There happens the biggest cultural fest Anakhronas on the month of march and the biggest tech fest Edge on december. ?All booms and journals are available in library. ?There are gaming stuffs for both indoor and outdoor games and a pool. ?Every a cricket and a football tournament happens. ?There are a few clubs like Ankuran, Geekonix, IIC, Technotkarsh.
Admission
?Eligibilty of the course depends on the rank we get in WBJEE exam, just like I got 29,800 rank so I was eligible for the Electrical branch but each year it varies ?There is a portal for WBJEE exam if someone wants to take admission via entrance exam , otherwise he or she will have to take admission by management quota and when he or she will go through by the portal or website of college they will get all information regarding application form, application fees, application dates. ?There are some reservation benefits especially for TFW candidates, they will get deduction on their college course fees. ?Admission duration should continue more days because there are many students who becomes sometime unavailabe that short period of time for their any emergency.
