Entrance IIIT- Pune comes under affiliation of SPPU (formerly known as Pune University), hence admission to this college is through JEE-MAINS(for admission through all India quota) or through MH-CET (for centralized state admission) Reference I came to know about this college when my elder brother got admission for IT branch through DATE Interview Process There was no such interview process once a candidate fits in eligibility criteria and respective cut off for that year Course I was into coding for quite a while after my 12th which made choose comp engineering as a career option .

Course Comp engineering turned out to be a pretty good choice as there's much focus on subjects like DSA and OOP which catch my interest but the course contains some hardware subjects like DELD and COA which one might find difficult to score. Practical Learning For computer engineering the working days are from Monday to Friday out of which we have practicals for 4 days each for 2 hours Research Initiatives :- Every branch has a student association which supports individual projects and also conducts its own technical events. Apart from these student association, the college is also a host for IEEE events and has a dedicated IEEE committee which enables students to avail digital libraries,projects,events,etc.

Internships College has a wide network with companies for internships. College supports any internships taken up by students and grants leave from academics for the same.

Placements Several companies approach throughout the year for recruitment and internships. One of the major advantages of this college is its location. IIIT - PUNE is surrounded by major IT industries such as Wipro, conginzent, TCS, Barclays, Infosys, etc. Companies Visited Amazon, Geometry, Persistent, Book My Show, TCS, Infosys, Wipro,etc Average package goes up to 4 lakh - 5 lakh per annum
