This is a all women college, very effective for confidence building as every task here is handled by a woman student which unknowingly gives a sense of being equal to compete with other students. Best for women who wish to bring change in this field.

I had opted for bifocal course in my twelfth standard in Electronics.Hence I preferred for BE Electronics and telecommunications for further studies. I had given JEE entrance exam common for Engineering admission. Cummins college was my third preferance. My admission was done through CAP round (all india process).

As I was having the basic knowledge of this stream earlier, I was encouraged to take one for my BE. The curriculum of the course is well versed. Practicals are taken regularly to get us the basics of the theory well revised. Our institution has recently inculcated a separate section for patents n Research for encouraging the new talents.

The college provides the student with 6 monyhs of internship period in final semester. Internships provided by college are good enough for experience.

The placement of the institution is aprox 80% and even above this figure. Renouned companies like Accenture, Infosys , Honeywell, HSBC, Citybank, Goldsman Sach ,etc take recruits with fair packages. The placement scenario is very well as compared to other colleges in the city. A procedure is followed from aptitude test to the HR interviews for the recruitment. A good number of placements are out every year.

The institution has both cultural as well as technical events around the year. The cultural event "Gandhaar" takes place in the later half semester showcasing versatile talents followed by the technical event " Innovation " letting the students show their technical skills along with different intercollegiate competitions.

College do provide with scholarship. The government scholarship for category students as well as EBC students. Other than this the college provides with scholarship for high ranking students with a waver off tuition fees. TATA is one of the scholarship providing company.

College provides a fair platform for extra curricular activities. Sports intercollegiate campionships ,cultural competitions are encouraged. College is a regular participant of the well known PURSHOTTAM KARANDAK and as also been a ex-winner. Many sports championships have been won such as COEP's ZEST.

The college hostel facility is available with three sitter as well as two sitter. College hostel is on 2 minutes from college campus. Facility is very good with cleaner toilets and good mess. Rooms are spacious and ventilated.

The alumni network is fairly strong . An annual alumni meet it been organised with the students panel for overall development of the college and other facilities. Students panel member is one of the most active panel to take care of events and other necessary jobs to be taken care of.

The institute is very strict with respect to the attendance ,exams and labs. Labs are carried daily. Attendance for lab sessions are compulsory. Their is a strict atmosphere in college campus around the time of examination.

Faculty here is almost well qualified with each of alternate faculty with a phd holder. The lectures are taken on the regular basis with teaching staff demonstrating it very well.
