Remarks
The college is said to be a student friendly campus but it is not. Gender discrimination is maximum here and that too right onto the face. The faculty and staff's mentality are disgusting and all the rules and regulations apply only for girls here.
Entrance Preview
Admission was through a common entrance test called KIITEEE. Those who qualified went up directly to the counselling round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose is not research oriented. Basically it doesn't focus on practical learning. The elective options offered are quite vast, different for different branches. For civil engineering there is concrete technology, railway engineering and transportation engineering.
Internships Opportunities
The college as such does not provide any internship of its own. The student needs to arrange internships for themselves.
Placement Experience
The placement for the year 2017 was not that good. Very less companies come for core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical. Only IT companies come for placements.
College Events
Many workshops are organized in the college campus. Only one cult-tech fest is organized. Average footfall is around 500. The organization arranged many competitions, workshop and star nights. Many celebrities like Sunidhi Chauhan, DJ Zaeden, Armaan Malik, etc has come.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is not at all affordable. You need to belong from a very well to do family or else take education loan. The fees per sem for the batch 2015-19 is 1, 43,500. Since then it has increased abruptly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship to the students who secures 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in the entrance test, KIITEEE. Also the students securing 1st position in each sem is given some amount of money. The college does not help in getting any loan.
Campus Life
Extracurricular events are organized by various societies of the college. Though it is a bit partialised. New talent is not much considered or given importance.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are decent. Each room shares 3 people. No PGs for girls. The amount I am paying along with mess fees is around 50,000. But the staff of the girls hostel are very bad. They talk harshly, treat us as almost like criminals and promote gender discrimination.
Alumni/Alumna
The college does not provide a proper platform for student-alumni interaction.
Exam Structure
Yes the exams and labs were very tiring. Not only exams but the whole class schedule is very tiring. Its from morning 8 to evening 6 pm, with some days only with 1 hr lunch break.
Faculty
The faculty are quite qualified and experienced. But most of them donot use their talent. They just make the class very monotonous.
