Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Computer Science and Business Systems, a good blend of computer science and business subjects like Business Strategy, Business Management, etc. The ratio of faculty to students is very decent. The teachers are highly qualified, and the teaching method is OK midterms, end terms, and sessionals are all conducted promptly.

Internships Opportunities

There are various internship opportunities available on our campus. Students can join multiple statuses and do internships over there or register for a startup semester. In the 8th semester , the overall experience is a descent.

Placement Experience

The highest package in 2024 is around 22 lakhs, and the average is 10 lakhs In our batch, 40% of students have been placed entirely to date. After pursuing my degree, I'll join the corporation and do a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

For CS branches, the fee is a bit high compared to other branches like electrical, mechanical, and civil for scholarships, the students have to perform excellently in their respective branches. Students who perform well are given certificates and medals.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very decent and adventurous There is an annual fest called Saturnalia, which is Asia's most significant event there is a wide variety of books and journals in the library sports and extracurricular activities are also there on the campus there are many societies and clubs which students can join.

Hostel Facilities

Many hostels are available for students, from single-seaters to shared rooms. The mess food is quite decent compared to other colleges. A Google form is circulated regarding the registration of hostel facilities. a Nearby, Adarsh Nagar, is where students can opt for a PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process was magnificent. I got a CSBS branch, which is Computer Science and Business Systems. The eligibility of the course requires a good Jee Main percentile along with a decent 12th board percentage in the science stream. The application form is available on the Thapar University website itself. There is a reservation for students residing in Punjab. There is no improvement in the admission process that I can see.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. inside campus walls

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
