Remarks
Overall experience was average. I2it is mixture of less of good and more of bad. Teachers should understand that it's not the attendence but performance matters eventually. Internal marks should not be biased but performance should be the factor to decide the marks on the marksheet.
Entrance Preview
AIEEE. I had score 119 and landed to this college thinking that this is one of IIITs. Interview process, nah not at all . I had decent marks in my HSC and SSC . And Aieee off course. Electronics and Telecommunication, because Its interesting.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course i.e. Electronics and Telecommunication , TBH less of practical learning(like any other college in India,Duh) .More emphasize should be given on Project works on weekly basic . That's the best way of learning new things RELEVANT to your stream, I believe. Research initiatives depends on student's Keen to learn and put it forward. You will be appreciated . Elective option, Computer Science anytime. More of placement opportunities as India is mostly into IT.
Internships Opportunities
No internship. You are not allowed to apply for Internship as PU doesn't allow you to. However if keenly interested you can ask the college to cooperate. They will surely help.
Placement Experience
Placement sucks. Hardly 5-6 companies had come in my college. (Infosys , IBM, Amazon ,acrolyte) . Make sure you have 60+ percent overall to fit the criteria of any good Companies. Average package was less than 3 lac.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college's fees structure is pretty decent. Less than a lakh an year. If you have any of the Categories(OBC,SC,ST- Maharashtra) fees is almost negligible. You can earn in college campus itself and pay your fees.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel . Singles , Double , Triple. PGs, Yes. I loved the Hostel environment. Rooms are pretty good with proper facilities,just like you expect in any other good Hostel college. Food sucked big time. Yes,BIG Time.
Exam Structure
Chill culture. Exams on daily basis, weekly assignments , homework ,submissions , You are left with no time for your self-improvement and study ,or any Project idea you want to work on.
Faculty
Btech , Mtech , PHD qualified teachers. I don't think Qualification has anything to do with your teaching skills as long as you are solving and clearing doubts the student has (even if the doubts are stupid ones) ,as we all have different perspective of thinking.
