Overall a good college.

Overall it is a good college. Prefer this college if you are not getting coep or pict in Pune. As our college doens't take extra money from management quota students, there is some kind of pride in all of us.

I was selected by my MHT CET marks. In general category, a student with 125 marks can get computer branch. Students from other states can also get admission through jee mains score. No interview process was followed. And course i choosed was better i thought among all other that is computer engg.

Computer engineering course is better than any other course. There are good computer labs with enough computers in it. Practical learning is not given at most importance. students are not so exposed to research initiatives. There are some groups like ACM, IEEE and avidsangam through which you can do research work.

The college has started to provide internships for the first time in this year. We don't get big vacations so students interested in internships require to take permission from college to take off for some days

Placement for computer and IT course are decent. It is worse for entc department as all the IT companies come and no core companies. The average package is 3 lacs. But it is preferred to go for off campus placement where the package offered is much higher.

There is a fest named Dhruva which is held in January for about a week. Fashion show, sports dance singing competitions, small food and games competitions are organised by the students.

Fees is affordable. For general category, total fees is around 1.6 lakhs. For reserved categories, it is less than 1 lakh. Some students are TFWS who just need to pay 8k for academic fees. And no extra expenses are required.

The MHT CET and JEE MAINS toppers from each branch are given 20% scholarship. There are some more scholarships for students is defence category and finolex company.

There are many University competitions in which the students of our college takes part. The cultural club is very active and has won many awards. The sports section is in its developing stage.

Hostel infrastructure is superb, it is the best thing in the college. Three seater rooms are provided. Ventilation in the rooms are perfect. There is a balcony in each floor. Food is also good.

Not a proper alumni network. As this college is not so old there are only three passed out batches. Students need to themselves interact with seniors and ask them about their seniors to know about some alumni.

Submissions are hectic, but engineering is famous for that so not a big deal. Exam question level is average not so hard. The practical exam totally depends upon the externals, they take viva upto 20 min per student also.

Faculty is good. Most of them have done Mtech. They have a lot of knowledge, it depends on the students how much they want to gain from them. The worst part is that all the teachers sometimes talk in Marathi which is very irritating for the non Marathi students. And mostly they force you to keep attendance above 75% that is ridiculous.
