Remarks
Overall it has been a good experience so far. As everything has bad side my college has it too. Though many have come out of the college and have progressed in the respective field.
Entrance Preview
I wrote keam exam.I was looking for an admission in a government college and there wasn't any interview process involved.I was interested in mechanical field and so I took up mechanical engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was really good. There was not much focus on practical learning. Not much research initiatives was taken by institute. I chose human resource management as my elective in fifth semester.
Internships Opportunities
There is no internship provided directly by college. Though externally some companies do come. Internship that I have attended provided the must needed exposure to the outside world and helps on the application of the engineering field.
Placement Experience
Most of the students are eligible for placement procedures. Almost 70% students are placed . The major companies which visited are TCS,Infosys, Tata elxsi, Microsoft,Bosch
College Events
Some major tests held are CULT A WAY . It is one of the best fests in trivandrum. Frequent workshops are conducted with the helps of organization such as ASME, SAE. Autobahn another fest is one which attracts must attention. Though the college authorities contributed to fests, the students take initiative upon themselves for the getting sponsorship for events. Most events are well recieved.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I got admission in management quota.The fee for each year is 65000 plus some additional fees which amounts to about 6500
Fees and Financial Aid
The school directly didn't provide any scholarship buy there were notification on scholarship by the student's union. No I didn't get any scholarship.
Campus Life
The college activities are restricted by the space it has. Though sports and arts are frequently conducted they are conducted outside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
No.I was a day scholar.But my friends are there living in the hostel. They were sharing the rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni provides must encouragement for activities. They help in getting companies for placement and also gives support for technical events held
Exam Structure
Yes.The series exams and lab exams were conducted very frequently making the students follow a hectic schedule.
Faculty
The faculties are very supportive and helping. Some are relatively new to this field but others are so experienced. They are very interactive with us and can be approached any time. So in overall the quality or the standard of teaching was very high.
