Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is a subject which is very vast and i really like the domains in it. The faculty student ratio. Is almost 1:60, which is a bit problematic but the teachers are really helpful and they complete the syllabus just in time.

Placement Experience

Mostly students get recruited in companies like TCS, Wipro, PWC,etc. They become eligible from the 6th semester. The highest package can go upto ,30l whereas the lowest ones being 3-4l. Mostly all students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was initially 4.9l during admission, however within a year it was hiked to 5.5l, which was very problematic for many students. There are various job/internship opportunities which our college offers

Campus Life

The annual fest that takes place is called "Anakhronos" which has a vast sector of events. The tech fest that takes place is called the 'Edge". The campus life in TMSL is very promising , there are various clubs allowing the students to involve in various extra curricular activities

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth. The admission was based on qualifications according to the WBJEE exams. The application form can be found online as well as from the college. One have to be physically present throughout the whole admission process in the college

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
