Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Information technology because there is a lot of scope in this field in near future and our college provides decent placements in campus. Faculties are extremely educated and well behaved here. Probably the best according to me. They will help you in every possible way both academically as well as any other field. Surprise tests are conducted regularly and it's on a difficult side
Internships Opportunities
Being in first year , I don't have any idea about the internship aspect. Although I have heard that intership opportunity is decent in this college. There are strippemds of 10k rs offered during this period to the interns as I have heard
Placement Experience
Students as the best of my knowledge, are eligible for placements from 4th year onwards. TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc visit frequently for placements. Highest package in campus has been recorded as 40lakh per annum and avg package offered is 5-6 lakh per annum. There is 100 percentage placement offered by this college. I think I will look for in campus placement after my btech degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of this college is the 98 k Fees are very low compared to other private institutions. And there is no such fee hike being experienced by me, at least for now. ROI is very good considering the facilities this college provides .
Campus Life
There is no annual fests being conducted since 3 yrs. But there is a chance that fest is going to be conducted this year. Library of this college is huge. They provides semester books free of cost. Huge stock of books to read . Classrooms are nice and airy. All modern facilities available. Projectors and desks with smooth boards . Over all nice cosy place to study. Sports is a highlight of this college. There are clubs people can join as per their interests. There is a e magazine run by IT Department of this college
Admission
I had given WBJEE Exam. Got 4.4k rank in that exam and opted for Btech in Information technology in HITK. WBJEE . We need to apply for WBJEE exam and then got a rank under 7k , there will be a fair chance of getting non core branches in this college. Cutoff for Information technology this year was 5 k . There are no such reservation benefits except TFW Quota. I think the councilling process should be held in a more organised way
