Course Curriculum Overview
Because ihave an interst in electronics and computers sothats whynimchose this course(BE Electronics And Computers).The batch strength was apprx.200 with batch size of 30 each and the teachers were good and they hold a degree in phd.and wehad 2 times sessional one before mst and one before est . the exam were average and difficult topass
Internships Opportunities
there were many companies for consulting and sde role like delloite and zs and bain and co. and future first for conslting with a stipened for 35 k per month apprx, and there were another like playsimple and zomato which provide intern +ppo or fte with same stipened
Placement Experience
in 6th sem jpmc comes toour college and took students for summerinternship and then provide 6months as well as ppo to good performing students .and from 8th sem a student is eligible for campus placements . zomato ,playsimple, oyo, delottie, zs,and many morethe highst package is 40 lpa for zomato and the average goes 10 lpa in this year apprx.35%of students got placed.but in previous years it was 90% my plans to work in big companies
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee was quite expensive and it was approx 2 lac in first sem .i did not got any scholarship but there were various scholarship.1) the top 10 students of each course will get scholarship 2.) scholarship were given to students whose family income is less than 7lpa
Campus Life
saturnalia is the annual fest in thapar university and it operates in 3 days it includes tech fest and many other performances and moreover in the 3rd day a singer will come to our college . and there were also many events like mudranite , thapar food fest as well and the library is very large with four floors with many books and there are many games in thapar and also there are inter branch competitions as well and there are many societies in our college where you can explore
Hostel Facilities
the hostel of thapar university is the best of all the private as well as govt. college we had ac accomodated rooms with attached washroom . the meal of thapar university is good and there was sodexo mess . the registrtion process takes place on official website and through thapar mail ids . no i have opted for hostel only and if you want to opt for pg there are many in bhadson road
Admission
it was nice . I appeared for jee mains . in got 82.5 percentile and i got 83 percentage in 12th and then i got ece on the basis of my 10+2 score and then i gave december test and upgraded my branch to electronics AND COMPUTERS. i have find the application form on the thapar official website. the minimum criteria to fulfill the admission process is to score 60% or more in 10+2 and the form fee was aprx.2000
