Faculty were very qualified all should have PHD. Exam held time to time in college . staff is good and I choose this course because it has many scope in govt. Sector and teaching method of teacher is very good. Helpful Teacher in College.

Cost to study affordable and for girls it is too short and many type of schoolarship for SC Student and also scholarship for general Student also and no job provided by college campus and no Stiphend given to Student

Campus Life

There is library in College and around 4000 book provided in library and many sports activity held in campus time to time.Rajiv gandhi tech fest done atleast once in year.Extra curricular activity done in campus such as playing cricket, chess and quiz held on campus.

Admission

Jee mains and HP set From google chrome Many benefit provided after taking admission such as schlorship for students Boys fees to much high instead of Girls .Improvement in admission process is that it is a lengthy process and consume so much Time in that .Overall there is less benefit for general student

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

I applied to AKTU, IPU, and a few private colleges. I got selected in 2, but picked this college as it has low fees, good teachers, and fair job offers. Seniors also gave good reviews about the labs and coding help. Yes, I could not get a seat in IPU due to low rank. I was close but missed the cutoff for CS. My JEE score was not high enough. I did not apply under spot round as I had already joined this college. Admission is based on JEE Main or state test like HPCET. Cutoffs differ for each branch. You need to pass 12th with PCM.
