It was a wonderful experience to be a part of KIIT. I have emerged as a star after experiencing 4 years here at KIIT. I took part in nukkad nataka and KIIT gave me so much of scope to explore myself.
Entrance Preview
I got admission in KIIT University through KIITEE 2014. No there were no interview process. Only counselling process was held. There were two counselling processes. I chose IT as my branch, because the placement scenario for IT in KIIT University was excellent.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I have chosen is IT. Many practical sessions were held. Yes research initiatives taken by the institution. We are given many good elective options such as Data Analytics, cloud computing, mobile computing, Real Time systems, parallel computing etc.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provides internship offers and opportunities by organising internship camps and other small companies also release notices in order to offer internship opportunities to students. Many of the internships opportunities offered are paid internship and many of them are not paid. There are many companies who provide pre-placement internship and pre placement offer.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is consistently good in KIIT because of which KIIT is an attraction for students across India. For years KIIT has maintained the hundred percent placement scenario. Even today in the time of recession because of demonetization it has by now covered 85% placement of students in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is affordable by families is whose income is at least 5 lacs per annum. In case of boys hostel the academic fees is around ₹1,30,000 including mess, hostel and Academics. The fee structure has hyped a bit in the past few years.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is very good. The food here is also very good and healthy and nutritious. Hostel rooms are mostly 3 bedded and well ventilated with very spacious wardrobes. The hostel bathrooms are kept neat and clean round the clock.
Exam Structure
End semesters and mid semester at the main exams during the tenure of semester. Small tests are conducted by teachers of the respective subjects in the classroom.
Faculty
Faculty members are really very qualified. Many of the professors have passed out from IIT, and other great institutes of India. The faculty members here are very interactive and very helpful. During the time of exams few professors also visit hostels of students in order to guide them and clear end minute doubts. Classroom teaching is really good with many interactive sessions and some are also fun.
