Remarks

The Admission Process was Smooth. I was alloted this college in 2nd round of WBJEE councelling and took admission in CSE- Data Science Department of our college. We are the first batch of this stream. Cutoff rank was high for that year around 7250

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is highly recommended, better than most other streams, as said by our faculty. Student ratio is 1:70 for theory class and 1:20 for practical classes. Almost all faculty have a PhD in their respective fields. Exams are easy not to worry about if you study regularly.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 116000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees increases in every session about by 10-15%, still has high affordability considering a private engineering college. Student credit card is available for all and swami vivekanda scholarship is also provided for the eligible candidates.

Campus Life

There are a huge number of clubs you can be apart of fests start from march and continue uptill late may so overall brilliant campus life. Course pressure is there in some departments but it depends on the individual.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
