Course Curriculum Overview

The course here in our college is quite good. The faculty is very good and helpful.Labs are held every week. Exams are held as per MAKAUT curriculum. The teachers here are all PhD scholars. The student ratio is 1:4 for girls and boys. Both Practical and theory exams are held. The internal papers are moderately difficult. If one studies well he/she can easily pass.

Internships Opportunities

Web development and Autobots we have done. It helped in improving our CV as well as many projects on Artificial intelligence and Machine development. For internship we get a stipend of around 10 to 15 thousand

Placement Experience

From 4th sem students get jobs offer and internship is started from 1st year only. Many companies like TCS Accenture Google Microsoft Capgemini pwc etc visit our college. The highest package is 36 lakh and average is around 4 to 5 lakes. Almost 80 percent students gets placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here is around 5.5 lakh for 4 years excluding examination fees and hostel fees. Loan facility is available. Scholarships for students for all for India is also available. Students can apply to that for financial assistance. Hostels are not available

Campus Life

Life here is quite fun. Events are conducted by all the 6 clubs of our college. Many events like sports dance music ramp walk paintings autobots coding competition etc are held by our college. Seniors are very helpful. Everyone here can showcase there talents as our college have a platform for all.

Admission

I was admitted in Techno Main Saltlake in the course Btech CSE through WBJEE exam. We can also enter through giving JEE Mains too.E couselling is conducted through WBJEE only.The admission process were quite smooth. The people in charge of it were quite helpful.Cutoff is around 8.5k in the third round of counselling for general and tfw its around 3.5k.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
