I took jee mains for the entrance exam The application process was ojee counseling And the cutoff was 85 percentile Application dates for the year 2023 hass been closed so for 2024 the dates are around when jee advanced exam gets over

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I always wanted to do something related to technology so this was the only option in India 1 faculty for 10 students The teachers are well qualified and experienced ones but the teaching style one may like varies

Internships Opportunities

the internships offer are also good like i dont know that much about the internships as i am in the second year and the internships start at 5th semester of our college so no idea about it but as much i have heard they are average

Placement Experience

the campus placements are good as i belong to it branch i think the average plackage in our branch would be aroung 7-8 lpa which is decent though but the average of mechanical and civil and other lower branch is not that high as fas as i have seen ..... but the high package is decent enough like 18-19 lpa in mechanical and civil and rest lower brances for electrical it is aabout 20-25 lpa(highest) and 7-8 lpa (average) and for electronics and instrumentation it is nearly same as it and cse

Fees and Financial Aid

For one year the fee is 82k for cse, the scholarship is merit-based, is as it is students and talking about the job I am in the first year so I didn't get any job till now but yes the seniors get a good package and the average salary is also good

Campus Life

The annual fest in our college is xstasy and it is held in the month of March and many celebrities are invited and also our sports facility is average not that good but now a cricket stadium is being built so I think the authority is taking care about the physical health of students and also they are making a gym in our college it was there previously but was removed due to some reasons so now it is being made so that the hostelites do not have to go out for the gym so yeah the college is really improving.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
