Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of the situation of upcoming industrialization in our country as well as out sides of. Out country. Many jobs are created in this field. Faculties are very good and helpful and teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities

In third year tha students need to do one project.The students are eligible for internship and they are getting internship by many companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant Accenture etc as a junior engineer, software developer.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are many it companies visited like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Bosch, IBM, Google, TCS, Infosys, cognizant, blue star, ITC Infotech etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this college is 5.5 lakhs and fees hike is Little bit higher. Other things are very good loan facility is available and state govt. Provided scholarship are available. TFW seats are available which is very good

Campus Life

Many annual fest are held. And there are many clubs are available like gaming club, cultural club, sports club etc... Many others fest is held which makes the students of very enjoyable. There are many sports competition and coding competitions are held

Admission

Techno Main Salt Lake is a private institute situated at Salt Lake (sector V) in Kolkata. This college is affiliated to Makaut University. 80% seats are filled through wbjee exam and 10% seats are filled through jee mains and 10% seats for management quota. Student can also take admission through jelet after polytechnic. To get admission in this college minimum 60% marks in 12th is required. Facilities are very helpful and lab facilities are very good. Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. Classroom are clean and labs are air conditioned. There are 2 canteens, 2 playground, Auditorium, a conference hall everything in this college. Placement record is very good specially in cse, it, ECE, etc. One cons about this college is small campus.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
