Course Curriculum Overview

I like working on technology and web development is my favourite. Faculty student ratio is very well. Most of the professors are PhD holders. Their teaching methods are really delightful. Term tests happen in every month and I passed it.

Internships Opportunities

From third year students can opt for internship opportunities in many good companies like Microsoft, cognizant, TCS, Infosys,I BM etc also they can get opportunities in IIT for internship with good amount of stipend .

Placement Experience

The on campus placement scenario in this college is really good. From 6th semester students become eligible for sitting in placement. Placement from CS it branch is really nice. Highest package was given by Microsoft 22 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of this college is 5 lacs for the full course of 4 yrs and the average package given by college is 5.5 lpa .Many good companies like Microsoft, cognizant, TCS, Infosys, IBM come for on campus placement here.

Campus Life

There are many clubs here . cultural club, technical club , sports club, etc they organize fests all over the year . Many famous personalities come as chief guests in those fests. The library section is really big .

Admission

Admission through wbjee exam and cut off for CSE is 7000.application form , fees , all details are available in wbjee official website. Admission process was conducted well. there are 3 rounds in counseling.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
