6 Months at IIT KHARAGPUR

I don't want to choose Mechanical engineering. I want computer science but for computer science cut off is very high and my rank is not so good for computer science but I am not regretting to choose this course. I think the event ratio is not good because in one classroom there are 180 and only one Prof. Most of the professors graduated from a Prestigious university and also did his MS/Ph.D. from Foreign universities. Here every one and a half months, there is a mid-semester exam, and also after that end semester.

In IIT Kharagpur fee is around 2,00,000 for one year Including hostel fee ,mess fee and other expenditure.There is also fee recession system for tution fee . for obc(income less than 100000) 100% tution fee waiver for obc (income less than 500000) 1/3rd is returned There are also different scholarships like MCM

There are various fest are held in IIT kgp. Shaurya for sports, Spring fest for cultural held in the last week of Jan, and KSHITIJ TECH FEST also conducted in January. There are many competitions are organized in tech fest like robowars, bike stunts, robot futsal games, EDM night, etc. In iit kharagpur every sport is available for playing from football, cricket basketball to .. hockey. and also in every hall, there are basketball, badminton court, and football ground. There are various clubs and societies in IIT KGP like Business Club,180 DC, and TEAMKART, and many clubs are run by students.

Room is very good .my room is triple sharing each students have their own study table and almirah.Meal quality is also not bad.REgistration process for hostel availability is not difficult it is very easy.There are many guest house in IIt kgp run by institute you can book rooms from website.

The admission process is very easy first we have to take the Jee Entrance exam. Every year cut-off goes to 10000 ranks for general and for obc closes almost up to 20,000 rank. Application forms are available on the nta website and updates regarding the application fees, applicant, and exam dates are also available on the NTA website.
