The course curriculum is also good in this college and faculties are very helpful and down to earth. This course is very good for now if anyone goes for it then the placement will be confirmed and college will also help the candidate

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is slightly high from other colleges but you will not feel regret after completing the course from this college. Every year there is a small percent of fees hike is avaliable. There is internship opportunity are also there.

Campus Life

There is one annual fest and one cultural fest and one tech fest will be there in every year. For this fests and all every students have to pay a small amount of money along with there admission fees.

Admission

The admission process is quite impressive. All the students have to appear for WBJEE or JEE exams. The application form is also avaliable in college campus. If you have any kind of caste certificate you can also avail the benefits

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
