Course Curriculum Overview
I want to do engineering from one of the best collages in India.I chose IIT because it provides you a lot of opportunities in every fields.The faculties at IIT KGP is excellent and it is one of the largest IIT in terms of no of students.Ya it's tough to pass the exam but you have to study the relevant stuff to your syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Students are eligible from 3rd year for the internship at IIT KGP .There are a lot of companies visited here. Some big companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Tata etc... provides a good offer for students.
Placement Experience
For campus placement students are eligible from 4 th year. There are a lot of companies visited here with a good package.I think Highest package in previous year was 2.7cr and avg is 20lpa.Percentage of students for placement vary according to their branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees at IIT KGP is 1.5L per semester including hostel fees.You will get awesome facilities as well faculties here.There is a lot scholarship opportunities.But to avail scholarship you must have to eligible for that.I got some concession in fees on the basis of family income.
Campus Life
The campus is awesome.There are a lot of events happening in every month but one of the biggest events here are Spring Fest and Kshitij.Facilities at library is too good,lots of book as well e journal also here.Sports facilities are good.There are a lot of societies here run by the students
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good.Food is good and also the rooms are good .Hostel will be allotted at the time of admission.The campus in too large so if you want to rent a room then you have to go out of campus.But There is no much proper good facility for PG outside the campus.
Admission
To get admission you have to crack jee advance exam.This exam is conducted once in a year through online mode.To get the information about fees,form, application dates, reservation benefits you have to go through official website of jee advance.
