Course Curriculum Overview
Got this course by my all India rank, not by choice of mine. Ratio is 1:180 in first year classes. Facilities are highly qualified and teach well mostly. Exams are frequently taken and easy to moderate level.
Placement Experience
People crack internships in 2nd and 3rd year and sit for placements in 4th year. Over thousands of offers made, check out awaaz and scholar's Avenue Facebook handles for placements statistics. I'll sit for placements after getting degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees including mess and hostel and tuition fees for unreseved people is about 1.5lakh. for those with family income between 1 to 5 lakh tuition fee is reduced to 33335 from earlier 1 lakh. For those with family income less than 1lakh and all sc st students without any income criteria, tuition fees are completely exempted. Fee is increasing each year. Mcm scholarship is available on merit cum means basis for those who pay 33335 tuition fees to reduce it to zero. Companies come to the college in placement season.
Campus Life
Kshitij and spring fest in January every year. Kgp's central library is largest in Asia. Classrooms are well lit, huge with charging ports and green boards as well as projectors. Each kind of sports and eaa is done here. Numerous societies and clubs in iit kgp... E cell, b club, ark, agv, prodex, gyws etc
Hostel Facilities
Bed, chair, table, tubelight, electricity in room Meal quality is not that good. Veg non veg both available. Through erp, affordable IITs are completely residential, no question about accomodation other than hostels.
Admission
Cleared Jee advanced with all india rank 4329, general male candidate. Through jossa counseling got admission to IIT Kharagpur in chemical engineering department. Applied through jossa and 6 rounds of counseling, dates u know.
