Course Curriculum Overview

Currently i'm in CSE core branch in IIIT Nagpur . Here , the coding culture is somewhat good and always wanted to pursue computer science as a subject based on my interest so that is why i opted for this branch. In year 2023 the total intake for CSE was 210 There are adequated no. Of teachers and all of them are Ph.D holders having a good experience in terms of teaching in their respective fields . There are 2 sessional exams before semester exams and they are of moderate level.

Class Size: 210Course Fees: INR 247000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is bit on the higher side considering this a central government college . 123000 per semester + 123000 per year for hostels . There are ample no. of scholarships available statewise as well as Central scholarships LIKE NSP , Up state scholarship , Maharashtra, etc

Campus Life

Campus life is somewhat good if you reside inside campus hostel. There are events happening frequently . Talking about the annual Cultural fest , Abhivyakti happens in February and the technical fest , Tantrafiesta Happens in December. Events are good and refreshing. Library is there in the college with wide range of books and journals . Classrooms are well furnished with full air conditioning. There is projectors installed in every class room. There is a annual Sports fest Kshitij which happens in january . Inter IIIT sports meet every year and good sports culture is there in the college There are many clubs like . Probe , Pahal , Crescendo , etc

Admission

The admission is based on JEE mains score through JOSAA and CSAB counselling. Cutoff For general category is somewhat above 96 percentile for ECE and 97.5 for CSE . I'm from gen ews category so CSE for 97 percentile.The admission process after the seat allocation by concerned authorities are very smooth you only have to reach the institute on the given date and time . Here in the college there are specialization like Data Science, AIML , Gaming .

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

My views about IIIT-Nagpur

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got.
