MuMC, my home college, and my dream college.

Always wanted to be a doctor and I got into this Medical College in my second attempt after passing by secondary examination I am a resident of Murshidabad and hence this college is my home college. This college has helped achieve my dreams.

I have written the WB JEE exam. There was no interview process. I always wanted to be a doctor that's why I chose this exam and succeded in my second attempt

The course is pretty stressful. There is a lot of focus for practical learning because the total course is mainly based on practical knowledge there is research initiatives taken by the college on family welfare and community medicines.

We have to do in internship of one year as a part of our course so it is compulsory. The stipend amount is rupees 25000 per month. If anybody wants to do it is additional internship it is solely on his discretion.

All the students are placed as government doctors in various hospitals and health center throughout the state of West Bengal so there is hundred percent placement. As per companies, the local nursing homes come to visit us to get placement as Regional Medical officers the average package starts from 20000 onwards.

Fests are oganised by the college. Major programmes organised at the freshers welcome and the cultural fest. V support with the average footfall is around 1000 people the college authorities contribute for the best very nicely and they are sponsored by Big Bazaar and Pantaloons and other local companies.

The fee structure is very affordable the fees are rupees 4500 per semester and there are a total of 9 Semester. The university exam fee is rupees 2000. There are four University exams at the total course.

Since it is a government institute for scholarship alone is available but their fees are quite reasonable and affordable by all.

Extra curricular activities are held in the fest and there is inter department competitions like debates quiz etc. and there is also inter batch competitions like football cricket and other Sporting events.

Yes I have been residing in the hostel and the hostel fees at rupees 12 per month. The hostel rooms are shared my three members The PG are available at rupees 1000 onwards. The condition of the hostel is quite good and is maintained semi annually it is not air conditioned but it is quite good as per government standards.

Alumni network is very strong because all the students are placed as doctors inside West Bengal in various health centre and hospitals so that connection between students and ex studens are strong some of them are also the teachers in my college.

The faculty here are very much qualified and experienced apparently everyone teaches very nicely and are very interactive and friendly. Since they all are doctors so they understand the students and teachers accordingly.
