Remarks

College lags somewhere comparatively other colleges in pune about placement and enviornment which is needed for personality development.

I have done my under graduation in diploma with Mechanical Engineering field.Then I have decided to go for Engineering and as it is government college, I have decided to take admission in this college and as my percentage is good in diploma, I got this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Engineering is very good course and as government name attached no focus on practical learning. Research is just in a name and it has nothing to do with this college.

Internships Opportunities

No Internship given from college. Even though we need it for your future it is not given from college. No experience and stipend about internship.

Placement Experience

Mechanical engineering has good placement in market but yes indeed you need to put extra efforts from your side.Placement is not good in this college and average package is 3 lpa. Placement is not everything.There are other opprtunities for mechanical in government sector.

College Events

Technical and cultural events organized every year and it is big events. Gokart is a big event with sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very less and it's affordable to everyone. I got admission in BE for Mechanical with only 750 Rs. Fees in 2013 year. When I took admission, the college is in developing stage.

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

Overall good experience

The admission process was very good according to the law of Cluster university Srinagar,they conducted an entrance exam in 2021 march and declared the result in may 2021. I found all the details of application form, fee and application dates on official website of cluster university www.CUS.com. Life At Campus

The admission process was fine but very late as expected, Kashmir university starts the admission process in August which was very late to start the session. The eligibility was fine for students the merit list was also fine. It was an online process and all the forms were submitted online and then went to the selected college for further document verification and fees were also online submitted.
