The coding culture at iiit sri city is amazing with a perfect blend of both theory and practical knowledge. The level of knowledge of the faculty is simply superb with some faculty having achieved a gate rank of 6 AIR

Campus Life

The social life at the campus is pretty mediocre. The clubs are lively with people entusiastically trying to participate, but the number of events organised in a semester are very few. If the number of events can be increased, i think the social life will be amazing

Admission

I took the jee entrance exam(mains) and obtained a tank around 21k. Application form : after getting selected for the institute in the josaa counselling, we receive a mail from the institute which contains the requisites like the admiaaion form and the other essentials

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply.
