The college itself is a brand so I like this college's fam.
Our college is fully wifi campus and laboratory are completely AC which I like the most.
Our batch and classmates are so good and faculties are good that's why I like the college.

My college is so far from my mess that is not good
Every day I have to change buses that I don't like
Sometimes our teachers do not take classes and sometimes we have to appear in a given time

Course Curriculum Overview

When I first visit this college our faculties encouraged me so much and that's why I took admission in this college and also this college is famous in all over the west Bengal. And all faculties are well qualified. The exams are taken by the university in every six month or semester wise exam.

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies give stipend during internship but many companies not. But if we found internship by our own then we can get stipend. Many companies offered internship some of them are TCS ,Capgemini etc.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat in placement exams . The companies like TCS, Capgemini, cognizant, EY and many more visits our campus for placement . The package given is 40 Lakh per annum and lowest is 3 Lakh per annum. There are 70 percent students get job from our college. I will definitely do job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is increasing in every year for new admission of students and who already admitted in a specific fees said by the college for him the fees will not increase. This college offers us SVMCM and aikyashree and also many more scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college organises one annual fest and tech fest are happened in every month. All books are available in our college library and newspaper also. Annual sports are happened in every year and college have ground where we play every day. Our college has many clubs for different works and events.

Admission

For this course student have to clear his 12th board exam or have clear diploma 3 years course and appeared in Jee or jee main. For applying in this course student have to login in wbjee and also can apply through the college's website.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
