Amazing learning atmosphere and a vibrant campus.

Placement is not so good in our university. But campus life is very good in our university and learning experience is also good. The management is also very supportive. Overall it is good.

I got this University through Central counseling done by JEE MAINS marks, more specifically called as JOSSA counseling in the last round. You need score 100-120 in JEE MAINS to get into this university in the ALL India quota seat. If you belong to North-eastern state then you can apply separately from the NE quota seats

I found that the course is not so good at my university, not much of research scope or much of experienced faculties are not there. Even our university does not have M. Tech in Civil Engineering.

No, my university does not provide much of the internship and all for Engineering courses. But Yes, for other depts. like for Arts Stream and all, there is a certain internship programme.

Placement and job scenario is not so good in our university but yes I have to say that the placement is increasing day by day and more and more companies like OIL, Power Grid is coming and hiring our students more from the civil and the Mechanical Dept. This current year in 2017-2018 around 20's were placed in the entire 200 students

We celebrate a lot of Events, functions, and fests for every Dept. Like we have Techxetra North-East largest Techno cultural festival, then we Inscignis a science fest and also we celebrate Spring fest and not to forget about the literature fest conducted by the science stream. The Commerce Dept. also celebrates the B-Idea festival a three-day programme with many other colleges participating.

The fee structure according to me is very minimal in accordance with the facilities that we are provided. As it is a central university so the tuition fee is affordable and the mess fee is also less than other universities like iits and nits. I give a big thumbs up for the fees structure of the university.

No scholarships are provided by the university but surely you can avail scholarship from other places and other Govt. agencies. No kind of loan facility is provided by the university but there are banks inside the university which provide a student-friendly loan.

The campus life in our university is pretty good as there are many people coming from different streams. The ratio is also very good at our university much much better than other other universities. Every day you will find one or other extracurricular activities is happening in our university conducted by different streams. Competitions like Quiz, essay, Painting, Debate, Speech, Singing and dancing are often conducted.

Hostels are good and no extra hostel is charged to us but a very small amount of 1.5K is charged to us in the begging of the semester as a menial charge which is also returned to us in completion of our degree. The mess food is not so good as they are not charging much mess fee from us so we can't complain that but it's not so bad also.

Our Alumni network is good and strong but not established I have to at that. Seniors are good and supportive, they guide us and help us whenever we approach them. Ragging is strictly prohibited in our university. And no much cases of ragging happens.

The Exams of our university is pretty hectic. Once in every Month, there is an exam and this leaves us hating the university because we are not left to follow our other hobbies other than studying. Also You are not allowed to quite exams if your attendance is weak like below 75% on any subject and they follow it very strictly.

I Filled in the choices in JOSSA counselling and then after getting the university I visited the university with all the required official documents including allotment letter,Birth certificate,Class 12th pass Certificate, 12 Mark sheet and Domicile certificate if applying for the NE quota seats and done the required in the university itself. For NE quota seats seperate notification comes out before the JEE results are declared you need to fill the form at that time only.

In Overall the faculty of our university is good. All are well learned and with a good experience. Some of the faculties are very good and can match any standards of teaching but other are like pretty immature in teaching but they themselves quite learned and knowledgeable.
