Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course to get into IT field. My branch is divided into 3 batches. Each classes have 60-65 students.Faculty qualification is top rated.But teaching method is mediocre. there was 3 class tests, and 1 semester exam at end.
Internships Opportunities
TCS provided internship but internship facilities is lacking in my college compared to placement facilities. Infosys also provided internship ,tcs and infosys provided approx same amout of internship.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year Students will be eligible for placements. The few companies are TATA, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys etc. the numbers of offers were made is 600-700. The highest package is 23 lpa on campus and 45 lpa off campus and 6.5 lpa is average.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees was depend on college needs,if college sees there was a need of improvement in infrastructures and books, they hike prices,as much they need. in my college there was a small amount of schlorship provided by college, 9.5 lpa was grabbed by 150 students by 1 company.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Rivary. The name of Tech Fest is Swarna. They were conducted in middle of the summer like june july. In my library the availability of books are really good, and good amount of journals are present in my library.
Hostel Facilities
The bed,fan,tubelight and table,chair provided in the room of hostel.The meal review is 6/10. Registration process of hostel is done by College as well. the hostel fees is 24000 per year. The locality of my hostel is Inside campus Of HIT.
Admission
Eligibility of my course is to crack the prestigious Wbjee exam.You can find the application at wbjee.in In wbjee reservation is 90% for west bengal students. i want to open some more seats for other states because in benal, Btech charges lower than other states.
