What Students Say

Likes

There is good girl to boy ratio. It makes feel good
Good library for studying and labs are well equipped
Good campus life and wide variety of food shops

Dislikes

Teaching methods are average and not that good that you have to watch YouTube for clearing topics
There are too many students there are around 3200 students for only 1st year
There are in timing of 8:30 to be allowed in the hostel so you can't plan late night parties

This course looked interesting. There are around 1 faculty member per hundred students . Most of teachers are PHD. The teachers are average at teaching methods you have to watch YouTube videos for understanding purposes

There are many companies that offer stipend for students . That are totally your skills and you are can get stipend at any year. There are projects given 8th semester and that represent your skills during placements

After second year you are eligible for campus placements . All popular companies visit campus but placements rates are decreasing Day by day . Highest packages go for ENC branch around 50 lakhs but off campus placements go upto 1 CR .

Fees of this college is high that is around 30 lakhs including all academic and hostel fees . Academic fees rises after every year at around 10 percent rise . Yes there are two scolarships for scolarship cum need and as per your academic perfomance

Campus Life

Saturnalia is the annual fest which occurs in October month . There are all types of books present in the library. There is huge libraray in the class . Classrooms are well equipped. There are special courts for all types of sports and a sports event named URJA every year

Admission process is easy. There are two ways you get admission via boards percentage and JEE percentile.Minimum of 75 percent in 12 th boards exams is needed . You need approximately above 94 percentile for computer science branch

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
