I choose the course in Computer Science and Technology branch, as per my interest area towards technical fields. The student faculty ratio is good. The faculties are well qualified prestigious professional degrees. As such all the faculties are good and have good teaching experience. The teaching is effective in the college. Teaching methods depends or the faculties but I can say that the they have a good knowledge of there respective subjects. Silicon Institute contains exam is a strict manner. No unfair means to passed the exam can be tolerated. Student practicing wrong method to pass exam will be debarred and have to reappear the exam. Examination is conducted in present of 5 invigilators and every students are seen through an equal eye. So there is no unfairness with any student. Terminal exams are often conducted in the required time of 6 months or and end of 5 months. Difficultly level is medium but if the student follow the teachers effectively, they will surely pass the exams.

The college provides practice schools for the the final year students to engage them with practical experience. Practice school is a sort of paid internship of duration 6 months or more. The highest stipend for it in 50K and minimum 15K. Everything contributes towards a good experience in professional world.

Placement offers are well numbered. More than 80% students are placed. Campus placement begins from 6th semesters. Before students are provided wuth the course for there placement. Company such as: HCL, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Cogzentus, Byjus, Intel, any many more. Total about 800 offers are provided with 28LPA as highest package and 5.8 LPA or average package. More than 45% placement offers are more than 5 lakh.

Fee structure of the college is budget friendly to a middle class family. As course fee is 1.6 -17.5 lakhs depending on the student's course. It cost 32000 as hostel fees per year for Non AC rooms. Also the college is very concerned about the students career life. It provides various opportunities through the course period. It provide Internships to students of every year (paid /unpaid). It provides "practice school" for the students of 7th and 8th semester students, to make them learn with practical applications. It provides MOOC courses even. It has a very good Study curriculum in order to provide a better education with experiences to the students. It also provides On Campus placement. And it have many recruiters such as TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Cogzentus, HCL, and many more. Silicon Institute of Technology is a good or better college among many private colleges , that one could look for.

Campus Life in Silicon Institute is Awesome. It provides cultural fest such as "Zygon Fest"( conducted in Feb or March), "Rhythm Nova" (In Nov or Dec) , etc. Also sports meets and competitions through out year. Various tech fests are launched (for Example: Nirman). The whole year is filled with many organised events such as talent shows, indoors games competition, and many more such events. It has many Clubs such as Google Developer Students Club, Entrepreneur Development cell, Switch Club, Robotics, social media cell, Cultural Societies, Sports clubs and many more. It is also good in extra curriculum activities and inter college events. Here Students also handle some websites on their own, for each club.

Hostels are well maintained, and very clean. Cleaning in done every day and care for good hygiene is taken . Room is provided with 3 or 4 beds accordingly with a table, a chair, and an almirah one each to every student. Meal cost is approx 43000 per year. And the quality of food is better than any private colleges. The taste and variety of food is good. Registration process for hostel and mess was smooth. The mess and hostel lies nearby or we can say walking distance.

Admission was done through Merit of JEE Examination, followed by OJEE counseling . Eligibility criteria for CST ( Computer science and technology ) branch is 80% in 12th boards and approx 85%ile in JEE. Admission process was conducted smoothly and in well organised manner. The admission / application form was provided in official website of Silicon Institute of Technology named as silicon.ac.in . Any sort of updates and information were provided through the site. Application form fees and the fees structure for entire course period is also provided in the site. The official website of the college is well contained with all the information required. As such the whole process is thoroughly conducted is efficient manner. Neither the students not the parents faced any problem through the admission process. After completion of the process each and every student was provided with an student identity code which mark them as a student of Silicon Institute of Technology.
