My college experience

overall college below par if you have to explore yourself then you should never take admission in this college . college management is also very poor . the main focus of the college management is only earn profit neglecting the academics of students.

To get admission in this college I have taken up the WBJEE test where i achieved 19215 rank . Checking the previous years admission record i opted for this institute.

the course structure is well planned with proper layout for the students to gain the maximum of it. every subject is so designed that it will help the students in practical life. the subjects included help in knowledge as well as personality development.

NO the college does not take any step to provide us the facility of internship. every student has to individually find their internship.

placement in the college is below average. for the departments like IT CSE EE EEE AEI the placements is average . the major recruiter is the TCS with the package for 3.5 lakh pa . for the branches like ME CE the placement record for the core company is nil . if ever student is placed from these branch he will be working for software company.

the college organises tech fest and cultural fest . but these are only for namesake . the tech fest conducted are little up to the mark for the reason that there are many events that could be participated but still the participation is only par level due to poor management. cultural fest is only for the students who likes to sings and dance.

college extracts a lot fees . the quality of the education and facility provided by the college is very low compared to the fees taken. at the time of admission the take a sum around 75000 in the name of security ,dress , training and many other various activities but what we get in return is never worth it . a total of 350000 is to be paid for the tuition fees only.

again the college does not provide any scholarship . the only scholarship that is availed by the students is by the state government that to only for the obc and sc st student. the college does not take an initiative to provide scholarship to the meritous student.

campus of the college is below average. the building are congestedly built. labs are still to improved a lot .sports is hardly encouraged. there is not even a ground inside the campus.campus life is far poor yhan the the life students enjoy outside the campus . due to lack of hostel the the student communication among the different branches of college and also with the senior is less. overall the campus life is below par.

the college does not provide any hostel facility . both boys and girls have to arrange for their own lodging and fooding. their are rooms around the college for rent where the students get accommodation . for the fooding the students have to arrange a maid by themself and also bring the ration on daily basis.

absence of hostel has reduced the interactions with the seniors a lot . there is alumni group formed but hardly there is any interaction. though there are some seniors that are helpful but the rest are only as stranger.

exam is conducted twice every year. once in december and another in may. there are total 8 semester. in the span of 4 years of engineering with 8 sem papers college also conducts 2 unit test every semester. exams are conducted in the college itself. sem exam labs and ut are well routined for the students to easily prepare for it.

after the result was announced i filled the admission application form with my choice of branch and institute . after filling the form allotment letter was provided and for certificate verification i had to visit nearest centre . completing all the formalities i visited college for further verification and fees payment.

the faculty of the college is the topic for for discussion . some of the faculty are well qualified but cannot express them properly in front of student. the rest of the faculty are not even qualified for becoming the professor. it should be brought in knowledge that some of faculty are too good to fit into this institution.
