Our campus is the best in Kerala with a women's college next door what more one needs .

I took Kerala govt entrance exam and i did pretty well with 100th rank i chose this college because I was living nearby,

Course Curriculum Overview

Very nice and we had several interesting electives including fluid dynamics and solar there were also power supply courses and management more and more people opted for engg management courses the best part of our course was the session on OR and production management.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was fun as we had a good cell managing that we got 40000 pm stipend i was lucky I guess most people got 20k IT is faring better as of now.

Placement Experience

All the 400 students were placed avg salary Rs 10 L almost all top IT cos came to the campus TCS alone made a mega recruitment.

College Events

We have many cultural events in addition to university level contests festivals are the life of the campus the literature fest was also great occasion for people to show case their writing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very very cheap govt college and so the fee is almost non existent i cannot share the actual figures but with a scholarship I actually paid nothing.

All banks offer edu loans scholarships on merit cum need basis too people also get support from philanthropists.

Campus Life

We have everything in campus. Robotics, MUN debates, cricket, all types of sports, cocky and football stadia, tt, shuttle, and so on there is also a large gym .

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel was also very cheap it is below 2000 per month so no worries two per room is norm and no single room .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Fantastic alumni who hold great positions across the world celebrities to so no problem with placements we never had a problem with jobs flipkart should try us.

Exam Structure

As always there is no control as it is university exam typical old fashioned 5 out of 8 exams so easy.

Faculty

Our faculty were sincere and dedicated with great credentials that include research and industry work experience phd from reputed universities etc.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?
