Pros and cons of Thapar university

Electronics and computer engineering course is a course involving both core subjects of electronics and computer science. It is a unique and great course for gaining knowledge in software as well as hardware. The favulty student ratio is 1:33 and the faculty recruitment is done on basis of their phd they have done in particular field. There are two exams MST AND EST which are taken timely roughly after 1.5 month of regular classes

Many comapnies visits our campus from amazon to blackrock or synopsys or america express etc which provides a great stipend in interships. Theh maily look on what skill student had acquired ik field pf web development or dsa. Projects related a programming language or building of websites or applications makes you chances more to get intern in a big company

From 6 semester studeng becomes eligible for campus placements . Companies such as blackrock, microsoft ,amazon, synopsys, texas instruments , american express etc come to pur college. The highest package this year was of 55 lakhs and average package went around 15 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed was about 82 percent. My plans after getting degree is to do job and then start my entrepreneurship journey

Fees of thapar is likely to be 25 lakhs and it varies from course to course and every year fees is invreased by 20 thousand rupees per semester.many scholarships are available here,for first year scholarship is based on jee main score and for further years it is basically on CGPA you secured in college exams. Loan facility is available inside the campus and I got a job on campus with stipend of 13000 per month

There are 3 main fests of thapar i.e Saturnalia, Urja the sports fest and Cultural tech fest conducted in moths of november, fevlbruary and march respectively. We have one of the best libraries where students can issue any book and read it as well. Classrooms are furnitured well with air conditions. Sports favilities are quite nice, we can issue any equipment of sports and play the sports pf our choice. There are more than 50 clubs in thapar few are tech clubs and few are non tech clubs

Rooms of hostels are quite nice and of big size varying from 1 seater ,2 seater ,3 seater as well as 4 seater . Each room is provided with study table ,chair,almirah, bed. Mess food qualitu is great and menue is updated after every two weeks. Registration process of hostels starts after admission process is done online . Admission process is basically through jee mains(70%) and through boards(30%). For the elegibility you must have given jee main entrance exam to join the college. You can find the fees details and application form on official website of thapar univesity i.e tiet.official.com. There are reservations for Sc,St candidates and also from janmu kashmir region. For improvement they should only take admission through jee mains, not through boards
