Likes

I like the course curriculum and the faculty in the college.
I like the rhr hostel. I like the play ground.
The architecture of cet is good. Currently a new building is constructed in campus.

Dislikes

The waste management system is very poor.
The students need another one badminton court inside the campus.
The canteen is very small and less number of shop.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. As it is a university so the exam and all other things are controlled by its own. In btech there are 8 semester with 6 month interval normally. In 1st year the students have to study some common subject in all branches. After 2nd year the subject are divided. 2 exams are conducted in a semester midsem(20 mark,2 hr) and semester (70 marks,3hr).

Class Size: 86Course Fees: INR 73000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on your branch. As cse,it,bt are self sustaining course the course price is more. But for core branch the course fee is less. For self sustaining course the semester fee is 38k and for all other courses it is around 20k. Hostel fee is 5000. And additional mess fee you have to pay.

Campus Life

The campus is 105 acres which is very large. But most of the area is covered with trees. There are 2 boys hostel,2 girls hostel, canteen, playground and 5 academic building in side the campus. there are a boys hostel outside the college for 1st year students.

Admission

The admission is done according to the rank in JEE Main entrance exam. The cut-off for computer science branch is 90 percentile for general students and it is low for other students. The admission process also depends on your education background (govt or private school) and green card etc. the councelling for admission was done in ojee official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
